A few years ago I wrote this on a notecard and put it on my dresser. I have always been a contributor, someone who jumps in to help where help is needed. As the future of work changes, we will increasingly need to use our talents and skills across a network of communities, rather than for a single employer. That is what I have been trying to do the last few years.
Find communities that you resonate with, then do work that matters. Build trust, respect, community, and people will miss you when you are gone. Don't give away your work, but also don't be afraid to give more than you receive.
Here are some of the things I am working on right now:
Essence of the Path
Foundations of Buddhist Practice
Foundations of Tantric Practice
100 Day Ngondro
Bringing the Mind to Rest
Exploring the Mind
Awakening the Heart of Compassion
Resting in the Natural State
