End State Goals

Sometimes we need reminders for what our daily practice is for. It's too easy to get lost in the busyness of our life and relationships.

Make a list of ten things you would like to be when you are 90, if you are so fortunate to live that long.

  1. Healthy body and mind.
  2. Meet adversity with readiness.
  3. Be present for loved ones.
  4. Have mental clarity.
  5. Be thoughtful, kind, and generous.
  6. Be free from strong negative mental states.
  7. Be a conscious, active contributor to communities I value.
  8. Be content with enough.
  9. Stay curious.
  10. Approach death with dignity.
